I've seen bits of both of them on TV and if I had to choose one I'd
go with the French one any day. We're used to the subtitles in the
Netherlands anyway and it saves me from looking at Robin Williams's
chest hair for 90 minutes.

The Birdcage is a very funny movie, but the original, in French with
English subtitles, is even better. I don't usually like to read
subtitles, but for some reason it didn't interfere with my enjoyment
of La Cage aux folles. Hope I didn't screw up the title too badly.
