Re: OT my dad

Thanks Chuck,
I admit I am gulity also of thinking the worst as well. He has his
craniotomy set for Friday (next week) and is scared shitless. I will pass on
the info about how much less painful it is than other forms of surgury. He
will be very pleased to hear that I am glad your dad's tumor wasn't
cancerous. I was just reading up on it.

Thanks Andy for the hug, now that he knows what it is, there is help.

My dad, around his 57-58 th birthday, had horrible headaches as well..
Had been in and out of hospital, mri's ct scans for other major
illness but nothing of head.. Found out he had tumor size of golf
ball on the outside of brain, pressing against brain..but wasn't part
of the brain. They didn't know this till they got inside. No cancer.
His surgery for the tumor was much less painful for him than spleen
removal, pancreas exploratory etc.
Watching medical stuff on TV you get the impression that they can see
all that go's on inside you... they can't,, They still get surprised..

I wish your father well.. Don't assume the worst.. (which is what I'm
guilty of..)
Chuck
