Hi Mike,
Way to go on not smoking and being honest. It is hard with families because
they are used to things a certain way. It doesn't always feel good but
honesty is the only way for me to get along anymore. This means I have to
occasionally speak my truth "no matter what". I try to be loving and kind
about it, but sometimes the loving and kind thing to do is to not play the
game. Your sis will get over it - give them some time.
With hope and heart,
Kathleen

Those that know me real well know whats been going on. Simply put I
fired my sisters husband. I've tried to talk to her about it but she
always started every rant with we're going to loose our house. For
two years I've tried everything to motivate him. Nothing worked so
I've given him a choice of lay off so he has some goverment income or
straight commision. This is a guy who thinks you show up at 8 am cook
breakfast and leave at noon. Yeah I'm an idiot but I finally realize
I was paying him more then me and my hours our more like 10-12 hours a
day. This should probably be off topic but I haven't smoked, And you
know it hasn't made me want to smoke. So Where do I post if I just
want to rant. and by the way he smokes and he claims his problems are
health related do to stress tests. This is why this has kept going
on as I thought he might get it together.

Sorry this doesn't belong here but its not my favorite thing to have
to dump on family.
