There is such a thing in the hallowed tenets of recovery called 'a
recovery job;' essentially, one of low stress, just to get accustomed
to the regime of working again. It usually is a lot less Type A-ish
than most of us are used to.
I hadn't really realized how much I too have to be careful of my work
during this early phase of recovery until I read your accounts.
Nothing is worth the agitation to your health - nothing. EIther you
find a way that you are at ease with whatever you are doing (which may
or may not change) or you don't do it anymore. Nothing is worth this
kind of stress. You have been apprised of a health situation that
warrants increasing attention and care, and that is the most important
thing.
with love and prayers xoxo
Hi Steph,
It's the double-whammy of being sick and of having to deal with George.
The stress just aggravates the illness -- but I put the illness before
all else.
I think George will be history -- not sure but have the feeling things
are trending that way.
Take care!
Cheers!
