I was feeling really virtuous this morning because I'd gone for a long
march (for me) - probably about 32 blocks judging by the time it took.
This was along a canal path. Surely I deserved a reward. We've all
been there - the search. Under the bed, under all the accumulated
detritus on the desk, in the car. Finally, the search led to the
couch cushions. Aha!!!! 3 of them, 3 of those evil delights.
Consumed immediately much to my shame. My God they were good. <sigh>
Yesterday I quit cold turkey. What could I do? Where is the patch
for this addiction? Where is the support group? I was scuttled by
coconut, cappuccino and buttered popcorn. Yes, Jelly Bellies. <head
hanging in shame> I'm climbing back on the wagon. Hoping to be
stronger this time.
