Well as some of you might of guessed my quit did not work out and I ended
up busting it on Sunday night, I went to the doctors today and asked for a
script of NRT, he prescribed me with 15mg of the nicorette patch which I
am going to use, I would like to do it from tommorow but I don't know if
that will be such a good idea as my mum is here until tommorow night and
she is a heavy smoker and my hubby is also a smoker as well as my
neighbours who I am friendly with. Although I would like to do it ASAP due
to a cancer scare and wake up call. I was also giving a script for my
panic attacks which the doctor feels will also help alongside the NRT.
Well I will let you know the day I take my final quit, I am looking
forward to it this time.
April,
good for you for getting right back to it. What might help is to *plan* your
quit beforehand. I know it helped me...both for my first quit, and for the
current one. There's some ideas to consider here:

Can't remember who said it, but it's true: Failing to plan is planning to
fail.
My own saying it is: Plan the work, then work the plan. It's something I
always include in business consulting, training, etc., but it applies here
as well.
Good luck! I know you can do it!
Stay strong. Stay focused. Stay committed!
