Yeah? Your last quit you carried them around? And how did that quit
work for you? You didn't stay quit. That system does not work for
you, you proved it to yourself.

April, you do not want them to carry around. You want them to smoke.
In my opinion, you need to be vigilant about keeping a 'safe house.'
Some people have particularly high impulsivity traits, and fluctuate a
lot emotionally - like me, and I believe, like you. For those of us
whose heads are more devoted to trying to muster up a 'good enough
reason to smoke' we must be PARTICULARLY vigilant.

We have quit and we can see right through that lie you are telling
yourself. Lie to us about it if you must, but do NOT lie to yourself.

It is important you at least tell yourself the truth: YOU WILL SMOKE
THEM IF YOU HAVE THEM.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
and The definition of insanity is doing something the same way and
expecting a different result.

Your history: Carry around = a failed quit
Safe house, nowhere near cigarettes = well, so far a GREAT quit.

Why not continue to do what works? Which is no cigarettes around, and
actually trying to be on your own side of your quit!!

Stephanie that quit lasted me a year and a half or possibly longer, I quit
carrying those smokes about when I was a few weeks into my quit. I remember
when I started smoking that time and I remember thinking oh I can have one
now because it's been X amount of time and Im not a smoker now so I can take
it and leave it just as quickly. I was at a friends 30th birthday party and
thats why I started again not becuase I carried a pack around in the first
few weeks.

Two days, 19 hours, 57 minutes and 30 seconds. 42 cigarettes not smoked,
saving £10.57. Life saved: 3 hours, 30 minutes.
