Sue,
I am pretty sure there is no way to actually read and reply every
message here without it taking a toll on your everyday life. I jump
in on the conversations that I feel I offer something in. I don't pat
every person on the back when they reach a milestone, but that is only
because 40 people beat me to it....
I am proud of every person that posts to this group.... No matter how
your journey is going with quitting, because you are here..... If you
are here, you are at the very least wanting to or thinking of not
smoking. This place is very motivational, we have quitbabies like
myself and old fogies mixing and minging, sharing their pains and
triumphs..... That is truly beautiful, and they don't need lil ole me
alone to do that. We are a team, and I am happy to say we are a team
that is growing more and more everyday. When one of us isnt there,
someone else is. Everyone here helps the next by just listening and
occasionally offering feedback and advice.
Sooooooo we are just happy to have you here, no matter if you reply to
1 post or 1000 posts. :)
Oz - Free and Healing for One Month, Eight Days, 7 Hours and 52

avoiding the use of 1573 nicotine delivery devices that would have
cost me $275.74.

I don't know how some of you can keep up with this group. I can't.
even read all the posts, never mind comment to all that I should. I
guess I'm one of the few 8 to 5 M-F people. Besides my job, there's
the care and feeding of my gentleman friend. I get up in the morning
to over 100 new posts. I come home from work and there's another 100+
new posts. I guess with all the time zones we're dealing with here
there's always lots of people who are in their "free time" at any
given hour.
Anyway, the point here is that I admire and respect each and every one
of you for this mission you have set for yourselves. You all seem to
proceed with grace, wit, aplomb and perseverance whether you have been
quit for a day (April, keep up the good work), a week, a month, a year
or several years. OK, there's the occasional rant. <shrug> Some of
you have extra hurdles (Happy Polar Bear and Marvie come to mind), but
you still have time to be supportive of the rest of us. When I see
that one of you has reached an important milestone or faced and
overcome a special challenge (the dentist, bad work day, just a bad
day) I may not post that I'm impressed, but I am. Just wanted you to
know.
Sue
