Er... what the hell kind of sadistic dentist would do a root canal (or two)
on a patient with a bad cold? If he/she has any medical scruples, you'll be
told to go home and wait until you can breathe through your nose again (and
aren't hacking and barking like a seal) before any oral surgery is
considered appropriate or safe.

Seriously-- this ought to be a *major* consideration for your dentist. Oral
surgery is taxing enough to the system without being already at a
disadvantage because of a nasty head cold.
