The general consensus amongst UK health professionals is "no more than 21 units a week". I don't want to swap one addiction (smoking) for another (boozing), but maybe I'm just worrying too much...

Well, then unless you think you have a problem, I think you're better off for the red wine! JMO. There are lots of articles out there to support the red wine consumption!
