Differences this year:
-I have a head start going into the new year. About 4 days (4 1/2 by midnight), but I have a good sized test tonight. I'll be hanging around folks that I usually smoke with. If I can make it through tonight I can make it any other time.
-I probably did better in 2004 than I did in 2005. Even though this last year was not an improvement over 2004 I cannot call it a total failure. I've made progress on other fronts, but 2006 needs to be the year that I get the quitting part right.
Stay safe bringing in the new year! I'll be bringing it in with orange flavored nico-gum :)
