Ah, so true and so sage as well. As soon as I finished my little "oh,
wo is poor little me" post, I popped over to whyquit.org and while I
heartily disagree with their opinions on NRT, there is a *ton* of good
information on the web site.

One thing in particular I found helpful boiled down to this. I would
have been upset with the drivers today and would have been stressed by
the other things that have been stressful in the last few days whether
I smoked or not. Life doesn't suck because I quit smoking. Life just
sucks sometimes.

It (in a rambling, offhand kind of way) reminded me of an exchange I
once saw on a usenet group. Somebody went into this long rant about
how he went into Radio Shack to buy a battery and they wanted his phone
number and how it was an invasion of privacy and just where did they
get off on asking him for his phone number and blah, blah, blah.

Somebody replied to his message and said, "Hey, you know what? If you
told them to go to hell, they'd still sell you the battery".
