Oral cancers ?

Dentist today.... "benign looking white spot on tongue" she says. Sees it a lot in smokers, says as they all say " quit smoking now or ASAP" but forcefully.

Too many questions to ask, but can anyone please help.

Am now, qithout too much of plan and a feeling like life without cigarettes is unimaginably lonely and painful and hopeless, trying Nicorette gum, due to oral fixation thing and Nicoderm patch seems more complicated.
