Help! What did I start?
We all have our dark sides. But is it nessesary to show them in
public?

Lille meg, most of the people in this group look down upon anyone with MS
that doesn't use one of the 'government approved' medications used to treat
the disease, and especially if you're using LDN. They are big time
supporters of medications that cause leukemia, congestive heart failure,
rare brain infections and suicide. They do not care if you get better or
not, only that you follow their leader. You will find out over time who is
open-minded and fair and who isn't. Just go back in the archives and see
what they have said about me and LDN for example. I have been cursed,
ignored and wished dead. Nice people, right? Ask me if I care - I don't. I
am sure they will turn on the charm for you and act phony, but if you came
here for support and cutting edge MS news you came to the wrong place. The
moment they detect you are not part of their clique you will become a
pariah, which considering the caliber of most of these people, is not such a
bad thing. No decent and caring person wants to be like them. The regulars
who agree with me yet fail to speak up in my defense deserve even less
respect.
On another note, I have had MS for 19 years and after using Avonex, Copaxone
and Novantrone for many years, have been using LDN for over 4 years. I am
sorry I didn't start using it sooner. I could have avoided the neurological
damage I now have. LDN's main purpose is to slow/halt disease progression,
symptom improvement is a bonus not experienced by everyone.

"Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) may well be the most important therapeutic
breakthrough in over fifty years. It provides a new, safe and inexpensive
method of medical treatment by mobilizing the natural defenses of one's own
immune system.
LDN substantially reduces health care costs and improves treatment of a wide
array of diseases. Unfortunately, because naltrexone has been without patent
protection for many years, no pharmaceutical company will bear the expense
of the large clinical trials necessary for FDA approval of LDN's new special
uses. It is now up to public institutions to seize the opportunity that LDN
offers."
