Rather than a knee-jerk defense of a man and his movie I would recommend
a close, in-depth look at the millions, maybe even billions, that are

You think maybe Mr. Gore's intention is to work all the Chicken Little's into a buying frenzy that drives up the value of his investments? If so, it seems to be working pretty good.

Well, at the very least, it is so far partially responsible for riots in
the streets 'cause folks are hungry. Ethanol is showing to be a
disaster when it takes food from the masses, costs more to produce than
it saves and creates more pollution than a well tuned, late model car
using gasoline.


This scenario must have been predicted by the powers that be. Even *I* predicted problems with rising food prices if massive amounts of food were converted to fuel. I think G-dub is much more concerned with American energy self-sufficiency than he is with the environment.
