A man had a small hay farm somewhere in Texas. The Department of Labor

"I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them," demanded
the agent.

"Well," replied the farmer, "there's my farm hand who's been with me
for 3 years. I pay him $250 a week plus free room and board."

"Then there's the part-time housekeeper/cook whose been here for 18
months, and I pay her $200 per week plus
meals."

"Then there's the disabled half-wit who I force work on everyday. He
makes the least amount of money, pays his own room and board, and I buy
him a bottle of Whisky every Saturday night. And-- He also sleeps with
my wife occasionally."

"That's the fella I want to talk to" said the agent.

"That would be me," replied the farmer.
