I am still here, We had one of the storm cells to pass close by. Warning
sirens were going off, Got some hail about the size of large marbles. Went
from no rain, to full on down pour with hail and high winds then back to
light rain. The worst passed over from start to finish in about five
minutes. Didn't see any trees down close by, but could smell fresh pine sap
in the air after it all passed.The following day we got hit again by heavy
rains and some small hail. Lost the phone line during the storm, only got it
back today. No phone, no DSL. Went out today and saw evidence of wind damage
about two miles from here as the crow flies. No damage to buildings but
allot of pine debris.
I am East of downtown about 25 miles. I need to check on Ross Greenburg. He
lives West of the city about the same distance. Looking at the storm path,
it went right over him as well. The main tornado seems to have set down
between the both of us.
