<snip perfectly understandable rant>
If you've managed to read this far, sorry for the rambling and ranting.
Maybe I'm just feeling down right now, because I'm still sore from the
accident, I don't know. Hopefully I'll feel better after I heal up.
Alex
Alex, I just recently went through a big bout of depression related to
hating MS. It was temporary, it always is.
Having to get used to new and increasing limitations and humiliations is
just not something any of us should have to do. We mostly adapt and
soldier on, but the occasional melancholy moment isn't unreasonable.
Hope your chair is okay :)
Scott
Scott, I read Alex's travails and found it not so much a rant but a
description of a very frustrating, if not angering, event. However,
Alex did describe the humanity of others in a time of need along with
the problems left behind but inconsiderate folks, i.e. the obstacle
that caused Alex's accident. Additionally, his description also showed
the lengths to which those folks bound to a wheelchair of must labor
beyond normal just to accommodate fools who are insensitive or
irresponsible. He did encounter more good folks at a crucial moment.
I appreciated Alex's contribution by describing the subtleties of
experiences.
Just an opinion.
Donn
ps: and his cake was saved.
