As for Bob's diet...bah!!! I'll stick with my junk and love every min of it. I'm doing fine. IMO it's luck of the draw on how bad your MS gets. So I try not to worry and eat all the chocolate I want. MMMMMMMWithout saying anything either way about her husband's politics, I would note that Anne (Mrs. Mitt) Romney has had MS for some time, and with a combination of traditional and alternative therapies (regular horseback riding, for one thing), has not had any worsening.
Anyone perchance know a site with info on what exactly she's doing?
I don't know of a site, but I agree with Jennifer about the luck of the draw. If your MS is genetically programmed to be mild, it will be. You can ride horses and wear copper bracelets with magnets in them, eliminate iron from your diet and environment, invent theories about parasites or throw pennies in fountains and any of those things can be given credit for your good health.
Eating right and keeping as fit as possible is important, but it's not a cure. There are lots of promising avenues of research, however, and Jennifer's skepticism aside, there could be a cure or effective treatment tomorrow for all we know. Here's hoping!
