Re: Question??

Not sure if u found an arcticle on the following fact but i am sure it can be
proven true. Stress causes headaches. A diagnosis of a life theatening
illness causes stress Ms is a life threataning illness. The conclusion being
ANY one diagmpsed with MS may experience more headaches. Allways made sense to
ME.

Question??

Are migraines considered one of the criteria for M.S.?

I found numerous articles suggesting a correlation between MS and
'headaches'. Many indicate 'migraine like' headaches.

I personally have many headaches caused by light glare, squinting when
doing fine detail work or reading (this does not include reading from a
tv screen used as monitor on Webtv, ain't that weird).

This article indicates, "Although headaches were once thought to be an
infrequent symptom of MS, more recent studies indicate anywhere from 31%
to 57.7% of the test subjects with MS suffered from headaches; the most
common being tension-type headaches and migraines."

http://www.msakc.org/Articles/UncommonSymptomsofMS.htm

AND

"A significant correlation (P = 0.007, Fisher's exact test) between
Migraine and Relapsing/Remitting MS was found. Primary Headaches are
common in MS patients."

What? Y'all thought all I ever did was sit around and dream up humorous
novelette length posts for the 'questionable' entertainment of the
group?
