i have a book that shows all the acronyms. if i took the time i could
just come on the asms and swear like hell.

dunno tick but your topic made me think of those jerks that start
calling from dinner time until after my bed time.

for instance i answer the phone and hear this is WRTB and we can reduce
the present rate on all your credit cards.. so then i tell the person
they've reached the "D.E.A.D mourtuary"
then i start in with a sells pitch on the cost per body pound of the
deceased and the percentage rate of each additional pound... or some
other story to due with a mourtuary.
when they tell me they've reached the wrong number and want to hang up
my story gets really bazar. it scares them and delights me:-) dory
