I had a bout of mononeucleosis in my teens... so did about 1 of every 10
people I knew... and most people (over 95% by age 30) have been infected
with EBV at some point in their lives even though most never develop liver
disease as a result.
Note also that this is a statistical metastudy - a rehashing of long
available, much cited research - and that it doesn't really say anything
new. It simply clarifies some of the numbers.
