That's a real bunch of bull!! I'd have told them to just try to make me
leave!!
I used to take my father, in his wheelchair, to different places in
Reno, and he was never denied entrance or service because of the
wheelchair. He actually got a little extra service because he was there.
My sister was in a wheelchair for some time before she died a year ago,
and she got the same treatment my father had, here in middle Tennessee.
Some theaters around here even give anyone in a wheelchair, and a person
with them, a free entrance....ahead of the other customers. My mother
took her to movies frequently.
The treatment you got, or the lack thereof, in Vegas is ridiculous!! I'm
so sorry you were treated that way. I've read a good many of your posts
here, and know that you're a very nice and pleasant person. You didn't
rate this abuse!!

those msers you speak of got coverage because they crossed the bondries
of a few rules or belive me they would not of made news.... i could say
more my hair is sizzeling off...... dory
I would have contacted every newspaper, TV, & radio station I could find
& tell them all about it. Sooner or later I'd have found a reporter
looking for a "human interest" type story.
Re: theaters, there is one near us that will admit myself & a guest,
usually Deb, in for free. Then we just pay the child rate for Little
Alex to get in. Sure makes going to a movie a little more affordable.
