I don't take an interferon, but I totally agree with the thights being
a problem when I take my Copaxone! I gave up on trying to inject in my
arms because they would ache SOO bad, and now my lets are starting to
get almost as bad. It is so hard to find areas with enough fatty tissue
there! Hips and tummy, no problem...legs...bruises and lasting pain
almost all the time.

Lossandra, are you injecting the way they showed in the Copaxone video,
straight into the top of the thigh? if so, that might be part of the
problem...i have *no* clue why they suggested sticking the needle right
in the top of the leg would be a good idea, in my case there's hardly
any fat there, and i had to be careful nt to nick the muscle, and it
hurt like a big dawg.

try using the sides of your legs instead, if you've been injecting in
the front. i noticed that, if i sit or stand straight, it doesn't look
like there's any loose skin at all on my legs -- same thing with my
tummy -- but when i sit down, i get the 'spread' just a bit, and it's a
LOT easier to grab hold of the loose skin on the side of he thigh, from
a seated position.

for the abdomen, i'd also sit down, then lean forward slightly. that
helped show the little space where there's extra skin to pinch. i
never did find any way that helped with the arms. ironically, the 'hip'
(upper butt) shots were always the hardest, for me -- positioning the
needle was difficult. i mean, even when Dennis helped with the
injections themselves, it was also hard for him to find the best
position....that's where i got the most site reactions, 'hip' and belly
shots. i also gave up on the arms after a while.

and i really do't know wh the Copaxone video instructs folks to use the
front of their legs for the thigh shots -- the sides really seem to
work better, for me and for pretty much ever other Copaxone user i've
talked to.

best of good fortune,
rose
