Re: OT: What's Your Name?

Sylvia I know I explained this "eons" ago, the nickname was given 'cause
someone said I just had a way of gettin' a good bite and hangin' on til
the doin's was done. Goes back 40 years or so.

Not even friends and/or family call me by my given name, Gary, which I
have shared here before. I don't answer to it much, usually it's
business calls and such where I hear it. Mostly it's GT, Tick or Poppy.
Did you know the drop dead gorgeous blonde on CSI Miami is named Poppy?
For real.

So, for family, friends and less than casual acquaintances it's just
plain Tick. Not a moniker I try to hide behind as I have been accused
of. And the reason my email name is GT Tick is for some stupid reason
Webtv's answer to instant messenger won't allow any punctuation. If you
go way back, before my son talked me into IM you'll see it was GT
(Tick). Go figger. I'll answer to eether, iither or (no Donn, 'GT' or
'Tick' not eether, iither or).

Geesh, how I do go on, but, the house is quiet, I'm alone except for
Bonnie the bird dawg and she's tired of conversation, I can't walk far
enough to get out and the steroids are buzzin' me up the wall.

Good one, Tick!
I KNOW you're not really "Tick," but I like it! (you said so once an eon
ago)
Now for something I like. . .can you deal with Courtney Love? Ooops! I
think I just felt a lawsuit come winging my way!
Think I'll stick to the same old same old. ..
