Re: They made me stop exposing my employer to potential liability.

I am new to this group but I thought it was for those of use MS
"tolerators" to chat with each others, not for opinionated psychotic
rude nurses aides to chime in with their stupid opinions.

Oh, yes - I looooouurrrve having MS. I could not imagine anything
better to be doing with my time.
I am 33, married female from Tasmania Australia.
I was diagonised 2 years ago, with RRMS and 6 years before that with
Systemic Lupus Erythamatosis. I have 2 diagnosed diseases so I must be
twice as happy and get twice as much attention!! Right!!??
1st week of December 2005 the WORST BIGGEST MS attack SO FAR and I lost
the right hand side of my body
and was in hospital on massive doses of steriods. I was trapped in my
body. Unable to do anything, dress myself, wipe my
own behind. But I think the best attention getter is wetting the bed -
33 year olds should try it more often!!

Anyway, in the last 10 years I have got more and more ill to the point
I have had to give up working, which was my only true joy in
life. I was very, very, VERY career oriented .Had to give up the idea
of having children (admit was not high on my
list of wants before but that is a real tug of the heart strings when
you cant anymore)
Now I am taking injections every 2 days, as well as daily Epilepsy
drugs for nerve pain, Parkinson Disease drugs for tiredness (does not
work by the way!), steriods and NSAIDS for the arthritic pain and
antidepressents because who the hell wouldn't be depresed, double dose
as the MS drugs prevent the anti depressent from being very effective.
Am pretty much house bound as I am too damn tired to get dressed and go
out
and about.

QUESTION: How do you cope when you have given up everything, all your
plans for the future are gone, and you cannot see the light at the end
of the tunnel?
ANSWER according to "ma1ibu ":
be grateful, because you are getting lots of attention, and if you
aren't, try whacking yourself with an electronic cattle prod to cheer
yourself up.

Isn't there another chat site you can go and harrass?
I hear people with chonic cancer are feeling a little too good at the
moment.

I totally understand why MS sufferers commit suicide. Daily life is
hard task.
