i would advise to go carefully. if you go on disability, it means you are
disabled. and your previous functional part of society is now illusion.
with partial you might hold onto your old life for a bit longer, but wait
too long and the ins company will find a loophole. your job will soon grow
tired of your specialness. unless of course you work for the .005% of
american companys that still retain some honor. or you work for a union or
etc.
i may sound like doom but once broken, your companys insurance rates
with you increase regardless weter you use the expensive drugs.
i had to go on a year after diagnosed, having the right doctor helped.
my job was just waiting for me to go, acting patient but quietly upset at my
limitations. but i'm secondary progressive.
still, go quietly as possible. or not! jude
