glycobiology

Does anyone know anything about glycobiology, the new class of missing
nutrients? According to this theory, there are 8 necessary sugars, of which
we only commonly get two when eating normal diets. MS has supposedly been
linked to inadequate zylose and galactose. Therre is a cellular restoration
plan that involves taking glyconutrients, plant hormones, anti-oxidants,
vitamins and minerals, and a cleansing bowel regimen. Has anyone tried it,
and if so, has it helped? It's rather expensive.
thanks,
steve
