Joyce,
I actually have exact same problem with my kids. There is really two
reason for it
1- Its been there for so long that they are tired of it, my sons wish I
could throw the ball to them like most dads, or coach their team or ....
2- The second part is that since it has no physical evidence, they think I
should be able to over come it by will.
