you know something abdi, i think Dove made an excellent point in a very
courteous manner. it's not that people should be 'censored,' it's about
self-censorship. she suggested thinking about newly-diagnosed folks,
coming to a newsgroup called alt.support.mult-sclerosis and being
confused because all they see are OT political posts.
like, if i went to talk.politics.california, and wrote post after post
about how hard it is to deal with M.S. people would be confused -- 'i
thought this newsgroup was for discussion of California politics?' and
the politically talking Californians would probably tell me to stick to
the M.S. issues that are directly related to California politics.
