Jen, was it Ditropan? my neuro recommended that for urinary
frequency/urgency, and he said it wasn't one of those meds that needs
to build up in the system, that i could choose to take it only on those
days when i needed to be away from immediately-accessable bathrooms,
and it should still work.
it IS embarrassing, even though it's not our faults. there was once
when i *thought* I'd run to the bathroom in time, but it turned out
that i'd dribbled on the bath mat and hadn't noticed it! later, Dennis
came out saying "Bad cat!" and when i asked what the cat had done, he
told me the cat had peed on the bath mat. i said 'uhmmmm...i don't
think it was the cat...." and he said 'well, who ELSE could it have
been???" yeesh, color me shame-faced!
when i was still walking, i walked to the grocery store one day -- used
the bathroom before i left, used the store restroom as soon as i got
there, then used it AGAIN before leaving, walked back up the hill...and
had an accident, standing on my front porch, as i was sticking the key
in the lock! :/
all the best to you!
