Re: Mis-diag?

I was initially dx'ed as RR. I went on a PhaseIII experimental for Oral
Bovine Myelin. When they pulled the plug on that study and declared the
experimental drug entirely ineffectual, my neuro then said that I had
progressed to Secondary Progressive, and was prescribed now started taking
double Avonex (twice weekly).

This neuro had no real explanation on the medical differences between the
three types of MS, saying that the real differentiation could only be
determined with an examination of MRI's overtime as well as clinical
history. In other words, this neuro was more a clinical/practical kinda Dr,
and not any good (IMO) about the various theories.
