Good on ya, sweetie. It's hard, believe me, I know.
I quit once but went back after about 6 months because it's hard to
live w/a smoker, (even though we don't smoke in the house,) when you
really liked to smoke anyway.
Now we're both talking about quitting at the end of the summer.
Reasons?
His reason: They are wanting to put through that new $1 per pack tax
on them. (Don't we sinners get overtaxed? Why not have a fat tax? Or
an inappropriate clothing tax?)
My reason: My singing voice is deteriorating. When my Patsy Cline and
Janis Joplin starts suffering, it's time to quit, (although it hasn't
seemed to hurt my Kitty Wells much.) ;-) After all, I have my fans,
.... ;-)
Keep it up, baby. Be an inspiration to me.
