Too earlyand the FBG is 114 mg/dL
It is so early it may go higher for the morning.
The BP is down somewhat to 132/85.
It seems I'll be going wine free. I think it raises BP.
I'll reintroduce it later but only in extreme moderation.
I swallowed a BP med for good measure. And I'll
take some ubiquinone and taurine plus see if I can
remember to take the extra magnesium. I also
suspect I need magnesium in a high ratio to calcium.
At least a 1 to 1 ratio and perhaps higher?
Step by step and hopefully no stumbles................Trig
I see you take some taurine have you noticed it affect your blood
sugar?
Mornings my BG will sometimes be about 130 and continue to rise to
about 150
and eating a little does not seem to stop this rise. But 750mg of
taurine and
600mg of ALA seem to just about stop this morning rise in BG.
Taurine.
At moment, I was thinking of its apparent anti hypertensive
effect in lab animals. But yes in theory it should benefit
one the BG front as well per the animal results.
Eating fish can be a large source of taurine. It is
a relatively cheap supplement WHEN bought in
bulk powder.
Also it has a profound effect on hang-over, so if
you ever drink a bit too much it will help prevent
the bite. Understand, excess ethanol is not good
even if one doesn't get a hang-over. A couple days
ago, the wine looked too good and I double dosed.
Not a good thing. I promised myself to be much more
careful to the point I may quit making the stuff.
Anyway, it seems to have raised the BP and I was
slipping up on some of the other stuff such as
magnesium and perhaps taurine.
With taurine, I am taking gram plus doses when
I do it. I no longer tolerate alpha lipoic acid, it
really bothers the stomach and symptom does not pass
for a day or two.
Day light is burning......................Trig
Well this morning just after eating the BG was 140.
Now it is 89 about 4.5 hours post meal.
Morning BP was 117/72 and
now it is 134/77 at pulse of 77.
Time for more magnesium.
A better morning perhaps: the FBG is 102 but
the BP is 135/82 at P of 62 and for this latter value
I try for lower.
Paper work is claiming time.......................Trig
Another day. The FBG was 110. Late in the day per
meal the BG was 105. Morning BP was passable and now
its not good enough. I'll take some magnesium and taurine
and recheck.
Some shin pain, I did work lifting and bending...........Trig
More fish oil is needed. More coconut. Fewer peanuts and lower amounts
omega-6
fatty acids in general. Replacing eggs which are pretty good food but
do have quite
a dose of arachidonic acid.
FBG 117
BP 127/74 at P of 59
Coffee on board now for food and supplements...........Trig
The BP is a bit too high. 138/84 at a P of 65.
Magnesium is on board though another dose maybe
tolerated. I'll guess I take the taurine in some sort of
gram dose and see if it has a benefit.
I need to order some supplements/foods and similar.............Trig
