I read of people collapsing from a hypo without being aware it
was coming.
Henry.
lol, i just posted i collapsed and 'won' a 911 ambulance ride
i had been treating a hypo ALL MORNING and had consumed 3 days of food to
try to cover the insulin
this happened the day i started humalog
the endo feels i must have shot the NPH twice
i swear, i did NOT
the next day, i cut the Humalog by 20% from what the Regular insulin dose
was.............. no more hypo problems and better bg control
kate
I take 25 units of Lantus before bed and about 13 units of Novorapid before
my main meal. I lost count the number of times I grabbed the Novorapid pen
instead of Lantus and stopped myself from injecting it just in time. Mistake
like that would make my night exciting.
In your case to get such a prolonged hypo, you must have truly done
something impressive. Are you sure you didn't go on a 50 mile marathon
run???
