Paula Deen's published cooking/lifestyle is certainly NOT one anyone concerned with long term health would adopt. For the occasional comfort food she's great. As a lifestyle, not even close.

I love watching her show, but it's definitely up to ME to make my own choices as far as eating the food goes. Julie is quoting almost word for word from another newsgroup where some were hoping Paula would die quickly from diabetes. A newsgroup that I no longer care to read BTW.

Yeah I'm quoting it word for word because *I* am the one who said it! I first read it there and when I did a search about it, the second thing I brought up was the Victoza website. The first thing was a link to a UK site where they claimed back in April of 2011 that she had diabetes. Odd that it took so long for it to get out don't you think?

No, you weren't. Believe me, if you were the one that said "I hope she dies quickly from the diabetes" you would be the only person I ever killfiled...forever!
