All the best for this surgury. I can't wait to hear from you once it is
all over and you are back and on the mend.

Wendy

thanks, Wendy......... it's been over 2 years now....... was chasing
gooses and lost perspective, but it's now all coming together (after
crisis moment, joys)

i will go 20 hours sleeping, then i'll go 10 hours awake, then 14 hours
sleeping...... all depending on the level of ailment i'm coping with

not to be a downer, but some nights i wasn't sure i was going to wake up
again

this surgery is step 1 of a series

next......... find out what the "polyp type formations in the gall
bladder' and "unidentified birth spot type marks on the liver'
are............ gotta keep the Dr focused on one at a time and keep
going back

TG i have an amazing GP (he fought to get me seen for this issue and my
surgery date is SOONER than my 'initial appt date' with the uber
specialist' was/is for

gall bladder next, that's more painful than whatever i don't know about
the liver

One little bit of good news. My 86 year old sister-in-law had gall bladder
surgery before Christmas. It was an emergency procedure. She came out of the
OR at 3:00 pm Sunday and they said she was going home Monday morning. She
refused to go home because she felt a bit dizzy. She went home on Tuesday. I
went to see her on the Thursday and you would never know she had had an
operation. She was bouncing all over the place and she is a person who
normally feels sorry for herself. So take heart. If she could figure out a
way to get sympathy she would have. They do the surgery with endoscopy
now-a-days so there is little cutting. She was chalk full of stones. They
removed some of them with suction down her esophagus through her stomach.

Take care. I will be thinking of you on Thursday reminding myself that my
surgery the following Thursday is nothing.

(((((hugs))))

Martha
Martha, i would put your surgery up there on the 'important' level and i would put mine on the 'annoyance but dealable' level

I wish you all the best for your surgery next Thursday and i thank you for your best wishes!

I shall survive and great to hear about your sister (giggle)!!!!

I only want day surgery, get me away from those silly nurses! (no offense to nurses, i just don't need to wait 3 hours for the Dr to approve a correction shot for bg level results! sigh)
