Martha, so far it is only bushland that has been affected. I believe it is not near houses but I am having trouble finding information as well.

I shouldn't take this off topic, but Henry's remarks about the mountains
reminds me I want to ask about the Blue Mountains fire. Our news said it was
in a tourist area, but said nothing more. Can any of you Aussies tell me a
bit more about it. Where is it? And is it under control yet? It sure looked
hot in the pictures on TV.
