I got rid of both by dietary change, fortunately, and the effect was immediate and complete for the FMS, literally overnight. It had gotten so bad, that merely sitting in the car while it was turning a corner hurt me.

My PN pains went away right away, but the residual numb feelings in my feet and lower legs needed alph lipoic to completely resolve within a few months.

I'm a lot older now than I was when I had PN and FMS... my diet did the trick, for me.
