Just rode back from breakfast, Wendy. there was this lovely looking double
chocolate fudge that tickled my fancy..... I resisted the temptation. Would
have had to ride a lot further than the couple of kilometres to work that
off... Just measured my bg, about an hour after having a small slice of sour
dough and two scrambled eggs and a flat white - 190! Ugh! two kilometre
ambling bike ride was useless!

Your numbers would probably have been worse had you not ridden the bike.

Or better..... You know that YMMV thing.... Actually maybe if I had that triple choc fudge they would have improved.....

Actually it might have worked better than the bread, lol. Henry, when I was highly insulin resistant a slice of bread of any kind at breakfast would have given me a considerable rise, quite considerable, even with a bike ride. On top of the bread you had a flat white and more often than not, there is milk added to scrambled eggs. Every small carb adds up at breakfast time for us type 2's.
