This study, as the authors state, raises more questions than it answers,
but that's always a good thing as long as inquiry, not mere stance

I found it odd that you referenced this study as iits findings were in
contradiction too deeply held tenets in the low carb community.
Namely, that lowered triglyceride levels that result from lowering
carbs were beneficial to diabetics. This study found that diabetics,
even though they had higher TG levels, were not at increased risk.
Quote:
"In contrast, although those with diabetes or impaired glucose
tolerance generally had higher triglycerides than those with normal
glucose levels, neither postprandial nor fasting triglycerides were
predictive of events in this patient group. "I would guess that,
probably, lowering triglyceride is not important for everybody," Laufs
told heartwire."
