I spent my entire professional life serving the mentally disabled for very low pay, and with profound respect and guerilla like advocacy. I did it with a self help/empowerment model including them in agency management and their own services, fighting for and defending their rights in other agencies and in communities that didn't want them housed there.

I worked, and insisted that my staff work with a sense of mission because the quality of vulnerable people's lives depended on how well we did our jobs every day.

I think the irrationality and total lack of personal integrity of the false accusers in this thread speaks for itself.

BTW, anyone see the ADA conference results about exercise not contributing anything to DM control compared to diet alone?
