I've been posting here for many years. I do try to offer support to
people who I don't hink have an agenda and are not spreading dangerous
misinformation. IMO part of helping this newsgroup is challenging the
crap those people post.

article without any comments on the article.  

Here's the deal on why I don't "comment" on articles I post: I'm
posting the article, not my opinion, spin, or interpretation. One of
your kindred spirits does that and it is usually misleading. Unless
someone reads the whole article they may never know that the
commentary posted with a link totally misrepresents what the article
says. They use it as proof yet they lie about what it really says.

If you comment it is an
insult, like the article you posted a link to but titled the post
something about ADA Haters.  

Only ADhAters would be offended if I tag it with a little joke. Oh
wait, you're not saying that you...oh no...not another one! lol

Was the article even about the ADA?  But
when you post those no comment links you seem to wait until someone
responds with an honest comment and then you pounce, throwing out

Better yet. Here's an assigment for you. Go over my last 8 years of

Back to the not knowing the history of the group.  You have claimed

Look, diabetes is a serious disease and steering people away from
doctors, posting misinformation, and playing online doctor are things
that are bad for all people with diabetes. I have had diabetes for
many years and I'm tired of armchair doctors and lunatics who will do
or say anything to convince people that they are authorities.
Fortunately, most of the newsgroup does not buy into their crap.

Or you can try practicing the Golden Rule.  

I don't need to practice...I've been proficient at it for many years.
If I were to post blatant lies and misinformation or deny the words I
wrote, I would gladly accept the insults that I would deserve for
doing so.
