Strips all over!

I am finishing up my Spring cleaning. I have found used strips for my meter
in the weirdest places. There was one at the back of the closet. I have
found them in the bathroom. In the laundry room. In the garage.

I am guessing maybe they are falling out of the bag when I take out the
trash and from there they are getting walked all over the house after being
stuck on our shoes. I almost always wear athletic shoes and I could see how
they could stick there.

Anyone else have this problem?

I can remember once testing at my friend's house. I was sure I put the
strip deep in her kitchen trash but then she found it later on the living
room floor. I swear they have a mind of their own.
