Well controlled diabetes, for the very vast majority(you being about the
only exception here, or that I have heard about) would not test well on a
GTT, as the underlying condition is there, but the effect of high spikes,
high bgs, adn high A1c's are well moderated by the control of eating, meds
, exercise, whatever is being used to achieve the control.

I don't need a GTT to tell me that I am still idiabetic, the occasional
overindulgence in , say cookies, tells me that, as I am hones enough to
not lay ostrich, but to test after such an indulgence just to see how bad
it is adn how soon it goes away.
