She doesn't know yet. She didn't take it at all well when Maui had to
have her eye operated on last week. This morning I just told her I
thought Maui was dehydrated and needed to go to the vet. At that point I
didn't know it was anything beyond that but suspected it might be. I
think she will not take it well when she does find out.

She probably won't take it well at all but I think personally that there
should be some kind of ceremony where she can say goodbye. We have held
"funerals" for our animals and the kids have said eulogies and we have let
balloons go etc. Up to you though, you know Angela best.

We were with her when she died. I think that was the best thing. It was
all over very quickly. She did purr a lot when she saw us prior. I think
the fluids they gave her made her feel a little better.
