I'm not sure what they're testing for here.. my test results that I got in the mail from my pdoc today just say Abnormal for pancreas test.
I have an appt. with her in a week to talk about my test results (A1C was terrible!!) but I'm concerned about this.. I'm on victoza and am always worried about pancreatitis.
Any ideas?
Amy
Well its certainly a possibility that the drug is the problem but the fact you also have such a high A1c could be the reason. High A1c could go hand in hand with raised triglycerides, another known cause of pancreatitis. It could be alcohol related or a gall stone or none of the above. You really aren't going to know anything until the results are explained to you unfortunately. A bit of a wake up call though. Glad you are back :)
