So, how safe are statins? Are they right for you? No one here,
including me, is in a position to advise someone of their safety or
non safety or if they are right for you. Here is an article that
discusses the pros and cons of statins which is worth reading for
anyone who has not yet made up their mind.

Bottom line, discuss your concerns and questions with your healthcare
professional.

Ask a healthcare professional? Who ignores developing
DM and pushes a statin med from a company that has paid
her a couple thousand greenbacks in the previous year. Better it is to
read the PDR, Pubmed, and even to listen an informed
nurse looking back on MD DXed events from several
years prior and then maybe consider talking
the the local MD.
Bottom line be careful who "you" call a "professional".............Trig
