Looks like the weather was better in your area
than it is now in northern Alabama. About 6
inches of snow, and the weather reports
mention the top of it melting just enough for
it to glaze over with ice.

More snow at once that I've seen in the eight
years since I've moved here, so it's likely many
of the local roads will be blocked for the next
few days.
