I knew you'd call it proselytizing ... ya just can't help it, can ya?

Or worse, don't want to.

To Christians, He is the reason for the season.

If you state beliefs as facts, then you're just inviting accusations of
proselytizing.

Evolutionists state beliefs as facts all the time and no one says a word
about it.

If a Christian states anything about a belief in what the Bible calls
fact,
he /she is accused of proselytizing.

Can you see the discrimination in that?

No. I see a distinction between scientific theory which has yet to be
disproven and religious belief. Very different animals.

Evolutionists can't keep their stories straight with "revisions" almost
daily, yet they are no closer to proof than in Darwin's time.

OTOH, even many secular sources accept the Old Testament as being a history,
well transmitted and accurate, which implies that the Genesis account is
true and a bout 6000 years ago.

Are you willing to look at a non-secular source?

If not, then you're not open minded.

You do realize these arguments are always started by you, don't you? If
not, you need to take a serious hard look at the net effect of how you
behave in this group. Jesus dined with thieves and prostitutes, but you
can't seem to get along with a bunch of diabetics in a Usenet newsgroup.
Could it be you're misunderstanding something?

PP

Ah, yes, blame the Christian willing to practice his beliefs, which include
the Scripture in 1 Peter 3:15 (essentially; to give answers for my beliefs
but respectfully), but it is hard to do so with respect when you are
viciously assaulted for that belief.

After all, I am human, so I can screw up ... just like you.

As for "getting along" ... do I start the arguments or do I try to defend my
beliefs when they are attacked?

And that's when I get ganged up on and accused of proselytizing, etc.

But, I won't and cannot stop defending the Christian faith as found in the
whole Bible and not selected parts that don't offend.
